Course overview

Become a qualified Driver Assessor in a single week. Our RADAT-approved Train the Trainer course runs in Lanarkshire and gives you everything you need to deliver accredited training in-house.

Book the parts you need: Train the Trainer, Driver Assessor, or both together as an intensive week. Joining RADAT at the end is optional — if an in-house training certificate is all you need, that works too.

Why bring training in-house?

  • Deliver your own Driver CPC courses instead of paying for external places
  • Assess your own drivers, on your own vehicles and your own routes
  • Train new starters properly from day one, without waiting for a course to come up
  • Keep the knowledge, and the cost saving, inside the business

How the week works

  • Train the Trainer — roughly two and a half days on how adults learn, how to structure a session and how to hold a room, finishing with a practical micro-teach.
  • Driver Assessor — roughly two and a half days on assessing driving to a consistent standard, with practical assessment.
  • RADAT registration — optional, at the end, if you want to be on the Register of Approved Driving Assessors and Trainers.
