Returns & Refunds

We want you on the right course, and we know plans change. This page explains where you stand if you need to cancel, move or transfer a booking with Open Road Training Ltd.

Cancelling a course

• More than 14 days before the course starts — full refund, no questions.
• Between 7 and 14 days before — we can move you to another date at no charge, or refund less an administration fee.
• Less than 7 days before — the fee is normally non-refundable, because the place, the trainer and the materials are already committed. Talk to us: we will always try to help.

Moving to another date

Give us as much notice as you can and we'll move you to the next suitable intake wherever possible. One transfer is normally free of charge.

Sending someone else instead

If you have booked a place and can't attend, you can usually transfer it to a colleague at no cost, provided they meet the requirements for the course. Let us know the new attendee's details before the course starts.

Not turning up

If nobody attends and we have not heard from you, the fee is non-refundable. If something has gone wrong, call us — we would far rather find you another date than leave you out of pocket and untrained.

If we cancel

If we have to cancel a course, you will be offered the choice of an alternative date or a full refund. We will always tell you as soon as we know.

Online and downloadable materials

Where a course includes eLearning access or downloadable material, your right to cancel ends once you have accessed or downloaded it.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer buying online, you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. Where you have asked us to begin the service within that period, or you have accessed downloadable material, that right may not apply. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

How to cancel

Email info@open-road.org or call 01698 598 665 with your name, the course and the date booked. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
