First Aid at Work
1-day EFAW and 3-day Level 3 qualifications, accredited by NLTC and valid for three years. Driver CPC hours can be built in.
Course overview
Essential life-saving skills, and the workplace compliance that comes with them. We run First Aid at Work training at our Motherwell centre in two formats: the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and the 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) Level 3.
Both are accredited by NLTC and the certificate is valid for three years. And because we know our audience, we can integrate Driver CPC hours into first aid training for professional drivers — two boxes ticked in one sitting.
Which course do you need?
- 1-day EFAW — around six hours. The right level for most workplaces and for appointed persons who need to handle an emergency until help arrives.
- 3-day FAW (Level 3) — the full qualification, for designated first aiders in higher-risk workplaces or larger teams.
Who is it for?
- Any workplace that needs a trained first aider on site
- Transport and logistics operators covering yards, warehouses and depots
- Professional drivers who want to bank Driver CPC hours at the same time
- Anyone whose three-year certificate is coming up for renewal
