Who we are
Open Road Training Ltd provides transport and logistics training across Central Scotland. You can contact us on 01698 598 665 or at info@open-road.org.
What we collect
- Booking details — your name, contact details, employer where relevant, and the course you have booked.
- Training records — attendance, results and the qualification details we are required to hold and, where applicable, submit to awarding bodies.
- Payment information, processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
- Website usage data, collected through cookies and analytics to understand how the site is used.
Why we use it
- To arrange and deliver the training you have booked
- To submit training hours and results to the relevant awarding or regulatory body, such as the DVSA, Qualifications Scotland, NLTC, SEGA or RADAT
- To issue certificates and keep the records we are required to keep
- To answer your enquiries and provide customer support
- To send you information about our courses, where you have asked us to
Who we share it with
We share your details with awarding and regulatory bodies where this is required to certify your training, and with the service providers who help us run the business, such as our payment processor and IT providers. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep training records for as long as required by the relevant awarding body and by law, and other information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete data, where we are not required to keep it
- Object to or restrict how we use it
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
